This new resource provides a vital intermediary for partner
agencies and the police, both in the safeguarding of vulnerable
individuals and property, but also in respect of funding for such
cases. By the sharing of responsibilities, agencies gain access to
the most comprehensive and previously unaccessible protection
measures, whilst participating police forces benefit by reducing
their financial burden.

Protection requests are communicated directly to the police
through a secure web portal operated by National Monitoring who
install, maintain and monitor the systems on behalf of the police.
Once accepted, the appropriate alarm response is entered by the
police case officer and systems can be installed same day.
